Call for Collaboration: QPL Learning Series, Spring 2022
Do you have research or professional experiences that can help guide young creators?
The Queens Podcast Lab is soliciting ideas for topics and guests for its Spring 2022 Learning Series. Our Learning Series develops Zoom/YouTube Live educational seminars for aspiring and practicing content creators. These seminars include tutorials, interviews with professionals in the field, and discussions with leading experts. We are interested in meeting, collaborating, or interviewing people with research or experience that is valuable to content creators.
What is Involved? A 90-minute Zoom chat with the Queens Podcast Lab community, with a YouTube Live simulcast. An edited version of the video will be released on YouTube. All materials will be distributed freely and with a Creative Commons license. We will discuss topics and questions in advance and meet via Zoom during lunchtime (Eastern Time) on Fridays.
Interested? If you have ideas for topics or interview subjects, please send your ideas to info@queenspodcastlab.org, subject line: “Learning Series.” Self-nominations welcome. If you would like to join our seminar as a guest, then please sign up for our email list:
Topics of Interest. We are interested in any subjects that aspiring or early-career content creators would find edifying or intellectually stimulating. Our goal is to create and freely distribute educational and thought-provoking content for people whose work involves mass communications. We hope that these materials will help train students who aspire to communication-focused occupations and entrepreneurs who are trying to develop mass communications enterprises.
The only rule is that it has to be educational, thought-provoking, and helpful to audiences. To see more, visit our YouTube channel. Here is an example of a session with creativity expert Hannah Wohl:
